PALM LEAVES- JASMINE FLOWERS
The Botanic Gardens, Dublin- some of the small shrub plants in the glass houses smell like a mix of verbena and peppermint, an entire wall of jasmine, and in summer it’s filled with the best sweetpea- lest we forget about all the bees milling around. The showpiece however, has got to be the Palm House. It was originally built in 1884, but rebuilt and opened in 2004. It just so happens to be the one place in Dublin that you’re guaranteed warm weather all year round.
